The XCEL team has worked on the Barroul house Kiama hospital which is a heritage listed property. On November 2019, wecompleted a large restoration project with new toilet block to Kiama hospital which was to restore Barroul house to its original form.
This Job was UTS Ultimo, it was a Commercial office fit out for various door frames and automated entry doors sized around 3M. We at XCEL utilised a wide range of timbers for both the door frames and handles themselves. All fittings, door frames, handles were custom made by our team at XCEL. Both Pivot doors and sliding doors were installed by our team to provide a modern, custom made aesthetic to the building internals.
Hornsby Hospital emergency ambulance bay was constructed with covered roofing that matched a 1:20 ratio pedestrian ramp. The
large level roofing project was constructed with supporting steel posts, 1:20 pedestrian ramp with compliant handrails and no slip paint applied to ramp.
We were tasked with a tight time-frame for this project, allowing two weeks to meet the builders deadline. We achieved this be having 10 dedicated carpenters onsite, full time. We were able to finished within our deadline commercial job.
The Sutherland Hospital was an installation of hand rails,crash rails and bump rails. XCEL carpenters and joiners collaborated cohesively on this project to achieve our deadline.
Bellevue Hill was a High end residential project where we completed a full house renovation with back extension as well as underfloor heating. We had a complete demo of existing house internally to transform into spacious open plan living works. The XCEL team fitted a box beam ceiling with acoustic batts that were 3M high, along with a heavy duty cavity slider, engineered oak floor boards throughout, timber wall panel
The Avalon Residential project was predominately a decking and custom fitting/sizing. The total size of the work amalgamated to 150M², this wrapped around the property which also included seating. The decking used was spotted gum hardwood as it was the perfect timber to fit the requirements and budget of the project.
Collaroy Plateau was a Full house renovation with an architectural designed extension and outdoor living area.We tested the limits of LVL’s and glue laminated beams . XCEL joiners manufactured fixed panel windows that were 10M overall length on site to achieve this light filled spacious extension. We also engineered oak floor boards throughout the installation. Xcel carpenters and joiners assisted with the Carpentry fix out on holey moley in Darlinghurst we did various installations such as doors and hardware, feature walls timber dowel tubing, crazy golf curved walkways and of new built bars. We utilised out skills to build and fit this unique setup.
